After spending much time in the saddle wearing a Motor-bike jacket. Looking almost twice my width and very masculine. I decided to design a jacket, to meet my requirements.
Most of our horses and ponies have their 'silly' days and my jacket gave me confidence knowing I had some protection in my jacket, but I wanted more. As well as back, shoulder and elbow protection I wanted chest/ribs, hips and lower back.
I also required a stylish, fitted jacket, that kept me looking feminine.
On top of that, I wanted a jacket I could wear in the summer

On our yard we have a mixture of horses and ponies, 10 in all, from a 11hh Section A 'Little Bill' my daughters first pony, to a traditional cob youngster, 'Harry Patch' to an ex-racer 'Uncle Pat'. We wear our 'Joy-riderz' jackets whenever we are hacking, schooling or doing anything down the yard. It's so comfey, you don't notice it has protection.
